Here the garnets are cut en cabochon and precisely fitted to form a scalloped mound, not unlike a pomegranate cluster.

At the center is an eight pointed star or flower set with diamonds. An old mine cut of .30 carats serves as the focal point for eight rose cut diamonds. A total weight of .54 carats (color H-I, clarity VS2-SI2) puts out remarkable flash and sizzle reflected against the bright yellow of the 15k gold. The rose cuts are set closed backed and foiled.

The removable bale features another tear drop shaped garnet for a total weight of 25.5 carats for the pendant.
